PRONOS PARIS RMC The bets of the Dream Team on Wimbledon – ATP

Who will win the 2022 edition of Wimbledon?

Wimbledon starts on Monday! In a particular context, the tournament not bringing any points to the players this year following the exclusion of the Russian and Belarusian tennis players, the table is very open and several players can believe in the final victory.

Novak Djokovic (quoted at 1.80) obviously a big favourite. The Serb has already won the tournament six times, including the last three editions. Revengeful after his non-participation in the Australian Open and his poor performance at Roland Garros, he will have to count on his motivation to win the twenty-first Grand Slam of his career.

He will still have to face several outsiders who can largely believe in their chances. To start with Rafael Nadal (8.00), already winner in Melbourne and Paris this year. If he has not reached the Wimbledon final since 2011, the Spaniard is living a second youth and still has the calendar Grand Slam as his goal. But the real danger of this competition is Matteo Berrettini (6.50), who is currently the best player on the grass circuit. Finalist in 2021, he won all his duels on this surface this year, winning the Stuttgart and Queen’s tournaments. Since 2019, the Italian has won thirty-one of his thirty-four matches on grass.

Still other players can make a good run, likeHubert Hurkacz (15). Semi-finalist last year, the Pole has just won the Halle tournament and has all the capabilities to reach the last four again. Felix Auger-Aliasimus (16) will also be a big chunk. In full progress, the Canadian continues to gain consistency and could well achieve the feat. The same applies to Nick Kyrgios (26), which once again proves to us that he likes to play on grass. If he had to forfeit Mallorca for abdominal pain, he will be part of Wimbledon and will certainly make the show.

Carlos Alcaraz (12.50), he will be grass-proof. Author of an exceptional year, the Spanish prodigy must prove that he is also constant and powerful on this surface. It will finally be necessary to count on the dean Marin Cilic (27). The Croatian has treated himself to a makeover this year and is finding a surface that he appreciates. After his semi-final at Roland Garros, he could well repeat such a course.

The predictions of the Dream Team :

Eric Salliot : Rafael Nadal (8.00)

Christophe Paillet and Yohan Bredow: Matteo Berrettini (6.50)

Stephen Brown : Felix Auger-Aliassime (16)

Denis Charvet: Novak Djokovic (1.80)
