As expected, Liverpool FC and goalkeeper Loris Karius (28) and striker Divock Origi (27) will go their separate ways in the future. Both leave Premier-League-Club. This was officially announced by the “Reds” on Thursday.

Karius moved to Liverpool from FSV Mainz 05 in the summer of 2016. Brazilian keeper Alisson Becker had ousted Karius as number 1 in Liverpool goal. The German goalkeeper later slipped further down the rankings and was no longer part of the squad after returning from Berlin.

Origi will leave Liverpool after eight years, his contract is also up. “Thank you for an amazing eight years of service and for leaving us so many special memories,” the Reds tweeted. According to Italian media, the clipper is about to move to AC Milan on a free transfer.
