Persebaya Surabaya’s Japanese players overheat, PSIS Semarang sells pillars to Bhayangkara FC

Yamamoto has participated in the first training with Persebaya, while PSIS has kept Finky’s sales amount a secret.

Persebaya Surabaya’s new foreign player, Sho Yamamoto, has undergone his inaugural training. He admitted that he was getting used to the weather in the City of Heroes which was hotter than his country, Japan.

Yamamoto is the third foreign player to be recruited by Persebaya for Liga 1 2022/23. Previously, Bajul Ijo brought in Leo Lelis and Higor Vidal.

Persebaya became the first Indonesian club to be defended by Yamamoto. So far, his career has been mostly spent in Europe by strengthening a number of teams such as FK Iskra, Spartak Subotica, OFK Petrovac, and Rudar Pljevlja.

“In terms of adaptation, today I feel in good condition. Yesterday it was really hot, but it didn’t matter. I will adapt to this city,” said Yamamoto.

Yamamoto received a positive response. The 25-year-old footballer is also happy to be able to strengthen Persebaya because it has a large fan base in the country.

“This club is amazing, moreover I will be playing in front of fanatical supporters in Surabaya, I am very happy,” he said.
