Pau Garcia Castany, one of the names of Girona football, has died at the age of 73. Garcia Castany trained at Gironabut from a very young age he signed for Barçaplaying his subsidiary, the Condal. A beautiful career made him consolidate in First (he was at Barça from 1969 to 1971) and returned to Montilivi in 1980, shortly before retiring. As a player, he was also part of thehealth, Zaragoza, Calvo Sotelo i Banyoles. He left his mark on the benches of Girona, Lloret, Olot, Farners i Cassà.
