TRIESTE. Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste announces in an official note that it has signed a contract with coach Andrea Vicenzutto as assistant coach for the next sporting season. Vicenzutto completes the trio of coaches who will sit on the red and white bench for the next championship.

Born in 1991 and a native of Pordenone, Andrea began his career as a coach in the youth sector of his city, later joining the first team as assistant coach of coach Cesare Ciocca. He then continued to work in the team of coach Ciocca in Bergamo where he remained until the 2018/2019 season, also collaborating with Giancarlo Sacco and Sandro Dell’Agnello and winning a promotion to Serie A2 in the 2016/2017 season. During the summer of 2019 he accepted the proposal from Orzinuovi, at the time returning from a promotion to Serie A2.

“I’m really happy that Andrea accepted our proposal – coach Legovich commented – The choice as second assistant fell on him because he showed great motivation, also dictated by the fact that for him it will be his first experience in the top flight. . He has shown his worth in the past years in A2 alongside experienced coaches, but I’m sure this leap in the category will be a strong incentive for him to give even more. The same criterion we are using for the choice of players, the motivation in fact, has been applied primarily to the technical staff.
