On Saturday the curtain rises on the Mediterranean Games in Oran • newsrimini.it

Just over 24 hours at the official start of the Mediterranean Games in Oran, Algeria. The curtain will rise on the nineteenth edition of the multidisciplinary competition reserved for the countries of the Mediterranean area tomorrow (Saturday) evening with the Opening ceremony which will take place all’Olympic Complex Stadium.

A first part of the San Marino delegationcomposed of bowls team and wrestlers Myles and Malik Amineaccompanied by their respective technicians and the president of the San Marino National Olympic Committee Gian Primo Giardiarrived in Oran in the late afternoon yesterday, finding the general secretary of the CONS waiting for them Eros Bologna and the head of mission Anna Lisa Ciavatta.

This morning the athletes were able to carry out their first training sessions in the facilities and become familiar with the Village.

Tomorrow they will also reach the Algerian locality the standard-bearers of tennis, table tennis, skeet shooting and archery. In addition to them they will reach Oran, and will be present at the Opening Ceremony, the Excellent Captains Regent Oscar Mina and Paolo Rondellitogether with State Secretary for Sport Teodoro Lonfernini.

At the moment, no details are known about the ceremony. What is certain is that, as already experienced on the occasion of the last summer and winter Olympics, there are two standard-bearers per nation, in compliance with gender equality. Leading the white and blue delegation during the parade will be Alessandra Perilli ed Enrico Dall’Olmogold medals in skeet shooting and bowls in the latest edition of the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona.
