NBA star Miles Bridges arrested for domestic violence

Miles Bridges of the Charlotte Hornets was arrested on Wednesday following an allegation of domestic violence. This comes from a report by TMZ Sports out.

The 24-year-old turned himself in and was arrested by Los Angeles police, but has since been released on $130,000 bail.

The arrest follows an altercation on Tuesday in which Bridges is accused of physical violence. The woman involved called the police, but by the time they got there, the forward was gone by the time he turned himself in the next day. According to the report, the woman required medical treatment.

At this point in time, there has been no public comment from Bridges or those around him on the allegations.

Bridges is actually one of the most sought-after players in free agency, which begins July 1, and should expect a lavish new deal. The Hornets previously announced that they want to keep their restricted free agent, although they reportedly don’t necessarily see him as a max player.

It is currently unclear how this news will affect this.
