[Reuters]–Steve Clifford (60), who was the director of the Hornets of the American Basketball Association (NBA) in 2013-18, will return to the coach for the first time in four seasons.

The Hornets haven’t disclosed the details of the deal, but media reports say the deal is multi-year.

Clifford made two playoffs with a record of 196 wins and 214 losses in the five seasons of 2013-18. He lost the 17-18 season with 36 wins and 46 losses and was dismissed.

With 11 more wins, Allan Bristow (1991-96), who is the Hornets coach and boasts the highest number of wins in history, is in line with 207 wins.

After leaving the Hornets, Clifford has commanded Magic for three seasons with a total of 96 wins and 131 losses. He was a consultant at Nets last season.
