Nations League: Robert Lewandowski 1: 6! Belgium smack for Poland – Soccer

It all started so well…

Robert Lewandowski (33) snaps at his Poles’ Nations League game in Belgium, but in the end there is a 1: 6 swatter!

The Bayern striker, who is willing to change, gives the Poles the lead (28th). After a wonderful acceptance, he pokes the ball into the goal from six meters to keeper Mignolet.

The answer comes quickly: Still Dortmunder Axel Witsel (33) scores the equalizer (42nd). After half-time it gets really bitter: Kevin de Bruyne (59th), Leandro Trossard (73rd/80th), Leander Dendoncker (83rd) and Loïs Openda (90th + 3rd) ensure the small shooting festival.

Especially in the second half Poland played underground.

Lewandowski was substituted after 69 minutes and rested for the upcoming games against the Netherlands and again Belgium. So he had to stand by and watch most of the Belgium goals.

The clearly superior Belgians recovered from the 4-1 defeat against the Netherlands last Friday. The Dutch also won their second game and prevailed 2-1 (0-0) in Wales.
