Nadal undergoes pulsed radiofrequency treatment on his foot

Rafael Nadal has undergone in the clinic Teknon from Barcelona to a radiofrequency treatment pulsed in the different nerves involved in the chronic injury -Müller-Weiss syndrome– who suffers from his left foot and will remain three or four days with normal maintenance physical activity.

Then “he will resume training on the track depending on the evolution of the treatment,” according to a press release released by his press team.

Nadal won his fourteenth title at Roland Garros in Paris -the 22nd Grand Slam in his record- by ​​defeating the Norwegian Casper Ruud.

“Rafa is already at home, and will spend 3 or 4 days with normal maintenance physical activity. We do not rule out that a second treatment could be carried out depending on the evolution in the next week”add note.

Nadal traveled to Barcelona to be treated by Ángel Ruiz-Cotorro, a doctor from the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation and director of the Tennis Medicine clinic.

Now, together with his compatriot, the NBA basketball player Ricky Rubio, he will surely go to the graduation ceremony for the students of the Rafa Nadal International School in Manacor (Mallorca).
