Murray savors the honeys of victory at home again

It was not without suffering, but Andy Murray smile again at home. There were doubts about the physical state of the British facing Wimbledon 2022but it seems to have dissipated them for the most part after enduring the pull before an uncomfortable James Duckworth. The Scotsman’s debut in the Cathedral was complicated after a very irregular first set, but Murray pulled his stripes and began to vary the game to despair the Australian. With the occasional underserve included, Andy would end up tipping the balance in four hard-fought sets (4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4) to advance to the second round, causing the roar of an overturned Center Court with him. There it will be measured John Isnerwhom he dominates quite clearly head-to-head (9-0).
