Most effective coach in NBA playoff history

The championship ring recently achieved by the Golden State Warriors continues to enlarge the records of many of the members of the Californian quintet, including those of head coach Steve Kerr, who in said role is already the most effective in the history of the playoffs of the NBA.

Indeed, the man who as a player won three rings with Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls and one with Tim Duncan’s San Antonio Spurs, has managed to win 22 of 24 NBA Playoff series together with his Warriors, which is 92 % Efficiency, higher than any quarterback with at least 100 postseason games.

Kerr has coached the Golden State Warriors since the 2014-2015 season. From there, the San Francisco franchise, previously based in Oakland, has won the league championships both in the aforementioned fair (2014-2015) and in 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and recently in 2021-2022.

In fact, the Warriors, under the tutelage of Steve Kerr, only lost two NBA playoff series, and both were decisive battles for the ring: the one in 2015-2016 when they collapsed in seven games against the Cleveland Cavaliers after becoming up 3-1 in the tie, and the 2018-2019 against the Toronto Raptors, a team that won six challenges.
