The Caledonian badminton selection will return to the Caillou with a silver medal. The Tahitians won the Pacific Minigames in Saipan.
The badminton mixed team competition ended early Wednesday afternoon.
After four collective successes each, the Caledonians and the Tahitians met for a final decisive duel in this tournament organized in the form of a single pool. The Tahitians finally prevailed. The cousins of Fenua led 3 wins to 0 before the last two meetings.
Defeats
The Cagous lost the mixed doubles (Yohan De Geoffroy and Marine Souviat), the ladies’ singles (Johanna Kou) and the men’s singles (Carl N’Guela).
