Mercato: Inter awaiting a relaunch from PSG for Skriniar, who still hopes to stay in Italy

The soap opera around the future of Milan Skriniar is in full swing. Ardently courted by PSG, the Slovak defender hopes to stay on the Inter side, still awaiting a relaunch from PSG according to information from Corriere dello Sport.

Focused on its upcoming change of coach while Christophe Galtier is expected to succeed Mauricio Pochettino in the coming days, PSG has slowed down on other issues. Announced as a priority target for the capital club to strengthen in defense, Milan Skriniar still does not know what his future will hold.

Under contract until June 2023, the Inter defender still hopes to extend the adventure in Italy while he already has an agreement with his club to re-enter with an estimated salary of 5 million a year, indicates Corriere dello Sport. In the grip of financial difficulties, the Lombard club however recently hinted that the Slovak defender could well be sacrificed this summer to meet his needs.

In its edition of the day, Corriere dello Sport also claims that Inter are still waiting for a new relaunch from PSG. The latest proposal from the capital club estimated at 60 million euros does not satisfy the Serie A resident who expects between 70 and 80 million euros. On the other side of the Alps, the soap opera has not yet finished spilling ink.
