More than 700 people including players, coaches and families enjoyed throughout the weekend at the Inacua Antonio Prieto Sports Center in Granada Regional Tournament PequeStarMini’22.
The event, considered the unofficial Andalusian Championship for the youngest promises of regional basketball, was organized by the club Grenada More Basketball and had the collaboration of the delegation in Granada of the Andalusian Basketball Federation, the Granada City Council, the Granada Provincial Council, Puleva and STG.
Between Friday and Sunday, eight men’s teams and as many women’s teams played a total of 32 parties divided, three of them from the qualifying phase and a fourth on Sunday according to the classification obtained in their group.
In the male category, Cordobasket won the final against Ciudad de Cordoba (46-52), while in the women’s category it was the Cadiz team of Candray the one that beat Algazara (27-54).
triple contest
Before the finals, the triple contest final was held in which the male winner was proclaimed albert japan (Coria) and in feminine Angela Rodriguez (Ruggery).
It was an intense weekend of grassroots basketball where all the players vibrated with the unconditional support of the most demanding public in some games that were broadcast live on YouTube and on the FAB Hobby app.
