Independent Medellin will not be able to use the South Stand of the Athanasius Girardot in the semi-final home run game against Sports Tolima, scheduled for next Sunday (5:30 pm).
“The SA People’s Team sanctioned with three (3) dates of partial suspension from the plaza, south grandstand, and a fine of ten million pesos ($10,000,000) for incurring in the infraction contained in numerals 1, 4, 5 and 6 of article 84 of the CDUat the match disputed for the 3rd date of the home runs of the Betplay DIMAYOR I 2022 League, against the Envigado FCSA club”, reported Dimayor in a resolution, in which she refers to the match that was played at the Polideportivo Sur.
The news, which took both fans and managers by surprise, forced the DIM to take immediate action.
Given this provision, the People’s Team reported that “after receiving the resolution of the disciplinary committee of the championship, the institution will make use of the corresponding resources and will await the response from the respective authorities.”
In addition to the club, the fans of the institution will also be affected.

The Antioquia club explained that in the event that the sanction is maintained, the institution will communicate in a timely manner where the subscribers and those who have purchased loose tickets for that location will be relocated.
