The Golden State Warriors received an enthusiastic welcome just days after winning the NBA championship. Tens of thousands of fans took to the streets of San Francisco for Monday’s Victors Parade.
“To sit here and enjoy the parade and feel the love from the whole Bay Area is just incredible,” said Masters Coach Steve Kerr. “We have a bunch of great guys.”
The Warriors had made the seventh title in franchise history clear on Friday night. In the final series, the team around superstar Stephen Curry defeated the Boston Celtics with German national player Daniel Theis 4:2. It’s Golden State’s fourth championship in the past eight years.
