Madjer, known for the heel that floored Pfaff, has to go to jail for 6 months | Remarkable

Rabah Madjer achieved world fame in 1987, when he managed to deceive Bayern Munich, with Jean-Marie Pfaff in the goal, in the final of the Cup for National Champions with a magical heel (then an unseen move).

After his career, Madjer went into the media, among other things. He owned 2 newspapers, Al Balagh and Al Balagh Erriadhi. When they stopped, the former footballer continued to collect checks from the National Advertising Agency.

That agency filed a complaint and now Madjer has to grumble for 6 months. He himself denies all allegations. “On November 3, 2019, I officially left the Al Balagh newspaper with official documents from the notary’s office proving that I have nothing to do with this case.”

“I have nothing to do with this case, either up close or from afar. I am innocent,” said the former Algeria national coach, who is appealing the conviction. At the beginning of June, the prosecutor had demanded 18 months in prison against Madjer.
