New weekend of regional competitions, this time in the city of Zamora where on Saturday a Master (n6) under 13 and under 17 was held, and on Sunday an absolute and senior TOP TTR.

On Saturday, four of our players traveled to play the Master in the under 17 category, where the best result was achieved by Andrés Pérez, who won the gold in the men’s doubles category together with his partner Pablo Martin (CD Medinense).

Andrés was the only player from Leon who managed to pass the group stage by also achieving a great fifth place in individual. The rest of the players, Nuria, Laura and Pablo played good games, but without getting to the fight for the medals.

On Sunday it was the turn of the absolute Víctor Andrés and Marcos Revilla. He was the first of them who got the best result by sneaking into the men’s doubles final along with his partner Jorge García (BC Palencia). In the final they could not get the victory, but they got a great silver medal. For his part, Marcos, after losing several close matches in the group stage, could not sneak into any of the finals.
