Inaugurated in September 2021, the Simone-Veil Poleau Havre (Seine-Maritime)will be transformed into a vast sports ground on Saturday June 25, 2022. Between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., the multipurpose facility located in the Danton district will host a festive afternoon.
Twenty free activities
The opportunity for the public to discover behind the scenes of the building, but also to indulge in the practice of sports and well-being activities. The services of the City of Le Havre and the local partner sports associations will offer around twenty activities for children and adults alike.
On the program: climbing, karate, taï chi chuan, aikido, kenjutsu, laïdo, taïso, roller derby, tchoukball, volleyball, rollerblading, dry rowing, judo, table tennis, ballroom and line dancing, skating, triathlon dry, cardio-boxing, zumba gold, Afro dance, 3×3 basketball, archery, bowling, molkky… But also cardiobike, aquafitness and lifesaving at the Cours de la République swimming pool .
Well-being activities (muscle strengthening, pilates, stretching, etc.) and dietary advice will also be provided. Toddlers will not be forgotten as parents will be invited to test their motor skills around a course. Finally, a multimedia area around sports video games will be set up for family fun.
Participants in this sports afternoon will also be offered a Le Havre en Forme challenge around a route through the main facilities of the district (allée Aimé-Césaire, Arthur-Honegger conservatory, gymnasium of the two stations, swimming pool of the the Republic…).
