He succeeds John Patrick. The Ludwigsburg announced on Wednesday. King is returning to the Giants after serving as an assistant coach there from 2018 to 2021.
Most recently, the American was in charge of the Czech first division club USK Prague. Patrick will probably work at the Japanese club Chiba Jets Funabashi in the future.
“We already know Josh from the past few years: he is a young and motivated coach who has undergone very good training in the USA and under John Patrick and fits into our organization both professionally and personally,” said Ludwigsburg chairman Alexander Reil . “In the past year he has been able to gain important experience as a head coach at professional level, and he fully identifies with our program.”
