While Kyrie Irving has decided to go through with his contract with the Nets, Kevin Durant chose to leave! The Athletic announces that the All-Star winger, who arrived in 2019, has requested his transfer. A crazy decision when he extended for 194 million over four years!
A decision that was still in tune with the times, and franchises like the Hawks or the Heat were ready to position themselves when the Irving soap opera got complicated. Since then, Atlanta has chosen to bet on Dejounte Murray, but Miami could draw a crazy offer (Tyler Herro + Bam Adebayo?) to recover Durant.
We are also talking about the Suns in a sign-and-trade with Deandre Ayton and an additional player… We are also thinking of Portland since Damian Lillard had published a photo-montage of him and Durant in the Blazers jersey…
