The Judo Club of our university will participate in the “2022 All Japan Student Judo Championship (31 times for women)” to be held at Nippon Budokan on Saturday, June 25th. We held an encouragement party for this tournament.
At last year’s “2021 All Japan Student Judo Championship (Women’s 30th)”, after a fierce battle involving the national team in the quarterfinals, he was unfortunately defeated, but he is showing a good fight to be in the national best 8 this year as well. It is expected to play an active role.

Tsubaki: Even when I was in high school, there weren’t many members and I had no seniors, so I had to think about it myself, but when I entered university, I was finally able to do the judo I wanted to do while receiving guidance from the director. Also, when I just entered university, I was full of things I didn’t understand about student life in general, but Senior Takasu kindly taught me. “
Takasu “As for judo, rather than teaching me, I have been working on solving problems together.”
Kazu Otawa (boy from Sakuragaoka High School) “The high school I was in had a large number of members, so it was not a one-on-one instruction system. At Doho University, the training method and high school days were appropriate. I was taught carefully about kumite, etc. Judo at university is the most fun. “
Ito: At high school, I gained patience through strict guidance. I was always aiming for a national tournament. When I was in my third year of high school, I was a captain and had difficult experiences such as raising juniors and organizing teams. I was able to grow through this. I want to apply what I learned in high school to university. “
