Annabelle Winzig becomes German Vice Champion again!
Stuttgart: With a great competition performance, Annabelle Winzig was able to win the silver medal in the weight class up to 63 kg and thus brilliantly confirm her performance from 2021.
With three early victories in the preliminary round against Charlotte von Leupold, Ann-Sophie Stempling and Yvonne Grünewald, Annabelle was able to reach the semi-finals without any problems. In the semifinals she was able to lead a tactically clever fight against Agatha Schmidt and entered the final with a hold and transition to the armbar. Unfortunately, Annabelle had to admit defeat on the floor in the new edition of the final against Nadja Bazynski. With that she wins an excellent 2nd place!
Leon Schreder (-81 kg) had to admit defeat in his first fight against Bennet Pröhl from Potsdam and was eliminated early.
Unfortunately, Julie Hölterhoff had to cancel her participation in the competition at short notice and was therefore unable to take part in the competition.
