JCH judoka Kevn Krist successful at the Tiger Cup in Lower Saxony | SKU


Judo: The annual Tiger Cup tournament took place in Lutten (Lower Saxony). Kevin Krist started from the Judo Club Holzwickede. The young JCH fighter competed in this tournament in the -66 kg weight class.

Kevin Krist approached his first encounter with great concentration. Right from the start he showed very consistent shots and won the match early with a Tai-Otoshi. In the second encounter he was also able to adapt well to his opponent and also won this fight prematurely with an ippon (full points). Now the Holzwickeder was in the semifinals. Both athletes gave nothing and showed nice judo. Despite good approaches, Kevin Krist had to admit defeat early.

Now it was about fighting for a place in the small final. Kevin was still fully in tournament mode, continued to approach the next encounter very motivated and concentrated and was also able to assert himself here. Now he was in the small final for third place. Here his next opponent was Maximillian Bott from JKG Diekholzen. Kevin dominated the fight from the start and was able to win the fight after almost 1:30 minutes with a hold.

Thus, Kevin Krist could look forward to a deserved 3rd place. In the run-up to this tournament, Kevin was included in the Arnsberg district judo squad because of his tournament performance. Coach Fabian Langer, fans and family are very satisfied with the performances of the Holzwickede Judoka.
