Jaylon Ferguson of Baltimore Ravens dies at 26

One more tragedy in NFL.

Linebacker Jaylon Ferguson of the Baltimore Ravensdied at age 26announced the team this Wednesday, without giving more details or the cause of his death.

In three seasons with the Ravens, Ferguson totaled 67 tackles and 4.5 quarterback sacks. In fact, in the team was known as “Sack Daddy” for the 45 sacks he recorded in college football with Louisiana Tech University.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Jaylon Ferguson,” the Baltimore team said in a statement. “He was a kind and respectful young man with a big smile and an infectious personality.. We extend our deepest condolences to Jaylon’s family and friends, while mourning the loss of a life too soon.”

Fergurson was drafted by the Ravens in the third round of the 2019 Draft. and participated in every offseason practice this year.

In three seasons in Baltimore he played in 38 games, 10 of them as a starter.
