James Rodríguez on the radar of the Turkish Galatasaray | Colombians Abroad

A premature decision to sign with Al-Rayyan turned into an ordeal for James Rodríguez. The Colombian rushed in and signed with the Qatari team, understanding that he would have guaranteed minutes, and so it was. A plan that was expensive with the aim of reaching the Colombian National Team again, but injuries and absences surrounded him.

Although it served to make him present again in the national team during the last days of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, James Rodríguez realized that his place is not Al-Rayyan. He still has a contract on Qatari soil, but the player has already announced his decision to seek new airs, and the suitors have not stopped. In addition, he will have to resume regularity in a club because Néstor Lorenzo stated that he will have James in calls and that he wants him to be physically well and with minutes.

An endless number of interested parties surround James David Rodríguez’s entourage, including a possible return to Everton, West Ham or his return to LaLiga but with Valencia. Those options have been diluted, and even the possibility of returning to South America with Boca Juniors’ interests was raised, which has also stalled.

James Rodríguez should not be living moments in peace, since he is in the orbit of Europe and South America without confirming anything. Another of the clubs that reactivated interest in the Colombian is the Turkish Galatasaray, according to media from that country such as Takvim.

According to the recently quoted newspaper, the president of the club, Dursun Özbek seeks to give the fans the best gift in the summer and that would be James Rodríguez. A player with little regularity, but with an enviable talent and left leg. The problem is the salary and that is where the Colombian would have to reduce it to settle in the Turkish ranks.
