Jalisco dominates without complications – Diario de Chiapas

After Badminton, the Guadalajara team remains the best representative, with more than 400 medals in the 2022 edition of the CONADE Nationals

Badminton concluded its participation in the CONADE 2022 Nationals, because after the performances of the U-15 and U-17 categories in the first stage of the competitions, the U-19 went into action in Tijuana, where Jalisco, Nuevo León and Baja California, occupied all three podium places.
With seven gold medals, Jalisco was crowned in the contest with a selection made up of Miriam Rodríguez, Joceline López, Max Peregrina, César Franco, Juan Pablo Jiménez and Isaac Pérez, a harvest that opened with the first place metal in the team modality .
Nuevo León finished runner-up with a total of six gold, 11 silver and eight bronze medals, because on the individual day, both men’s and women’s, they added two golden metals through Ángel Martínez and Vanesa García, who left second place to their teammates Marco Ornelas and Linda de la Garza.
In doubles, Marco Ornelas and Irvin Pérez, as well as Valeria Ornelas and Vanesa García, climbed to the podium in second, both in men’s and women’s, respectively, while the bronze medal was in charge of Linda de la Garza and Mónica Valencia in doubles feminine; Valeria Ornelas and Ángel Martínez closed the account.
Baja California said goodbye to the tournament as the third best exponent of badminton with five golds, one silver and five bronzes, because in the last round it won a gold medal in mixed doubles by Vanessa López and Ángel Ramírez, who beat Jalisco; while the four third parties were in charge, in the first instance, of a mixed team made up of Vanessa López, Sofía Guzmán, Paola López, Mariana Quezada, Joshua Silva and Ángel Ramírez.
In addition, in women’s doubles with Vanessa López and Sofía Guzmán, as in men’s singles with Ángel Ramírez and women’s with Sofía Guzmán.
The border state made history and was the third best state in the competition with its five golds, Nuevo León second with six and Jalisco was the champion with seven, who continues to lead the CONADE 2022 Nationals medal table.
