BOLASPORT.COM – The world’s number one men’s singles badminton player, Viktor Axelsen, is relieved to finally win the Indonesia Masters 2022. The fact that he was able to win at Istora was the cause.

Istora Gelora Bung Karno in Senayan is one of the venues that Viktor Axelsen has yet to conquer throughout his career.

Axelsen’s revival began before the pandemic period, so he had to wait two years to be able to conquer one of the world’s famous venues.

Last year’s Indonesia Open title was won by Axelsen when the Super 1000 level tournament “refuge” to Nusa Dua, Bali.



Now, Axelsen is experiencing a special moment in the final of the 2022 Indonesia Masters at Istora Senayan, Sunday (12/6/2022).

The Danish mainstay player grabbed the title after Chou Tien Chen (Taiwan) with a score of 21-10, 21-12.

“At first I feel happy now. For me, this win is a good victory,” Axelsen told the media and BolaSport.

“I faced a strong opponent and today’s match went well.”

Axelsen then explained the reason why the title at the Indonesia Masters 2022 has a different meaning.
