TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM, MAKASSAR – BJ Habibie Stadium which is located in the City of Parepare, South Sulawesi was prepared as a headquarters PSM Makassar from Liga 1 2022/2023.
But so far the operator of Liga 1, namely PT Liga Indonesia Baru or PT LIB has not given the green light to PSM Makassar to use the BJ Habibie Stadium as a homebase.
PT LIB provided a number of notes to the Makassar PSM management to complete a number of deficiencies in the BJ Habibie Stadium.
PSM Makassar in the 2022/2023 Liga 1 competition really wants to have a home base at the BJ Habibie Stadium.
The decision taken by the Makassar PSM management is inseparable from the absence of other decent stadiums in the South Sulawesi region.

In Makassar City, for example, the Mattoanging Stadium, which used to be the headquarters of PSM Makassar, has been demolished.
The only stadium that allows PSM Makassar to be used as a home base in the South Sulawesi region is the BJ Habibie Stadium.
The Makassar PSM management has also coordinated with the Parepare City Government as the owner of the BJ Habibie Stadium.
