A native of Georgia, Luka Mkheidze was forced to leave his native country with his family because of the second war in South Ossetia in 2008. He therefore went to Poland and then eight months after France, at the age of 12. as a political refugee. After a period in the Paris region, the hopeful pole of Normandy spots him and he puts his suitcases in the boarding school of the establishment located in Rouen.

When she asked me to come back, I was immediately ready because I had wanted to do it for years but I didn’t really have the time with the competitions, the training sessions… Just now I’m went to boarding school, I saw the former supervisors, the weight room… We are in the locker room where I changed for three years, in the place where I was sitting because we had our assigned places.
