Hertha BSC: Sandro Schwarz has decided, Prince Boateng stays! – Bundesliga

All Hertha fans are happy: Prince Boateng (35) will stay in Berlin for another season and extend his contract!

New coach Sandro Schwarz (43) and manager Fredi Bobic (50) agreed on this after discussions with Boateng. Bobic: “It was good talks, now some contractual things have to be clarified, then we will be able to announce it.”

Schwarz sought a one-to-one conversation with the Hertha leader: “We had an intensive and honest conversation. That’s why I came to Berlin two weeks ago. I wanted to hear from him personally how last season was, what he wants, how he sees his future.”

Boateng stays, two others can leave the club with suitable offers. Santiago Ascacibar (25) made his wish to change during the second half of the season and can now leave. Bobic: “If the offer fits, then we’ll talk. But he will definitely join the team on Saturday.”

Midfielder Eduard Löwen (25), who was last loaned to Bochum, was released immediately, negotiated with another club on Monday and has no future in Berlin.
