Hannover 96: Boss Kind throws ex-coach Jan Zimmermann out again – 2nd Bundesliga

Two is Better. But whether it is better in this case remains to be seen.

In mid-May, ex-coach Jan Zimmermann (42/contract until 2023) was fired by the Reds. Almost six months after the release in November 2021, 96 boss Martin Kind (78) sent the notice of termination to June 30 on May 18, claiming: “Hannover 96 acted in accordance with the contract.” Now the boss is doing more.

Child throws Zimbo out again!

A week ago, 30 days after the first termination, the previous predecessor of coach Stefan Leitl (44) received the next expulsion letter from 96. This time it was even a “termination without notice”, dated June 17th. When asked by BILD, Zimmermann did not want to comment on the double ejection.

According to BILD information, the Reds should not have given any reason for Zimbo’s immediate ejection. The result, however, is that the ex-coach has not received a salary of 96 since June 17th.

Zimbo is taking legal action against this. Through his lawyer Horst Kletke (Frankfurt), he “extended” his dismissal protection lawsuit (Az.: 1 Ca 188/22). The responsible labor court in Hanover officially announced this – and also set a date: On 8.7. (12 o’clock) is (quality) negotiation.

Curious: The lawsuit of Zimbo’s assistant coach Jens Jansen (46), who was also fired, was to be negotiated on exactly this date. The appointment was cancelled, Jansen wants to wait for the arbitration process.
