Hamburg Towers sign Kendale McCullum from Giessen

Basketball Bundesliga club Hamburg Towers has signed Kendale McCullum. As the Hanseatic League announced on Monday, the 26-year-old American is moving from Gießen 46ers to last year’s playoff participant. In Hamburg, the best provider of assists from last season will receive a contract until 2023. “We are sure that he will find the perfect conditions with us in the coming season to continue his development,” said Towers managing director Marvin Willoughby.

“Kendale is a point guard with tremendous speed, who can tear holes in the defense and thus create advantages for his teammates. He is also an excellent defender on the ball and can exert massive pressure here,” said Towers coach Raoul Korner about the access . “In my opinion, he still has enormous potential and also the ambition to take another step forward with us.”
