Gold in table tennis for Yucatan at the Conade Games

Two gold medals were added to the account of the Yucatan delegation at the Conade National Games, as table tennis and judo athletes climbed to the top of the podium.

In table tennis, in Hermosillo, Sebastián Caro and José Bady Fierros gave the gold medal to Yucatán in the doubles category in the U-21 category.

The peninsulars defeated the couple from Jalisco to go to the throne.

Silver and bronze medals also fell in this same sport, in the Sports Pavilion.

In mixed doubles, Bady Fierros and Areli Cervantes were runners-up, losing to Quintana Roo.

Four bronzes also fell: In individual U-19, by Axel Lovo Álvarez, who teamed up with Eli Martin in men and Arantxa Sánchez in mixed, and in U-15, Diego Coral and Nicolás Mena.

In judo, the gold went to the account of Guido Cuevas in the division of the 73 kilos of Sub-21. In the final, Guido accounted for José Núñez, from Baja California.

Jaziel Espinoza took the silver in less than 81 kilos, and there was also bronze in this final day for Elías Cuevas, in less than 73 kilos.—Gaspar Silveira Malaver
