German footballers played in a draw in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday, while in another game Dutch footballers played a two-goal deficit.

Germany played a draw against Hungary with a score of 1: 1 (1: 1). The hosts took the lead already in the sixth minute of the game, when the German goalkeeper beat Zalts Naģs. However, the Hungarian footballers managed to stay in the lead for only three minutes, as Jonas Hofmans scored 1: 1 in the ninth minute.

The England national team was still unable to score a goal and ended the match against Italy without a draw – 0: 0 (0: 0). In group A3, the leader after three rounds is Italy with five points, Hungary is in second place with four points, Germany is in third place with three points, and England is in last place with three points.

In the fourth group of the A league, the Netherlands strengthened against Poland in the field, with a 2: 2 draw (0: 1). Polish footballers were the first to take the lead, scoring a goal for Mety Kash. The Poles managed to double their lead in the second half, when Pjotr ​​Zeļinskis broke out with an accurate shot, but in three minutes the Dutch played and reached a draw 2: 2, sending the ball to the Polish goal by Davis Klassen and Denzel Dumfries. At the end of the game, the Dutch had a chance to pull out the victory, but Memphis Depay failed to beat the goalkeeper.

In the fourth group, Wales took Belgium to their field, and the game ended in a draw of 1: 1 (0: 0). At the start of the second half, the guests managed to score, with Yuri Tielansans being accurate. The Welsh footballers managed to escape the failure just three minutes before the end of regular time when Brenan Johnson threw the ball into the Belgian goal.

The Netherlands is in the lead in the A4 group, with seven points in three games. Belgium is four places lower with four points, followed by Poland with the same number of points, and Wales is fourth with one point.

In the first group of the B league, the second victory was won by Ukraine, which defeated Armenia 3: 0 (0: 0). The Ukrainians won in the second half, scoring three goals in 23 minutes. Ruslans Malinovskis scored first in the 61st minute of the match, after 16 minutes Oleksandrs Karavajevs doubled the lead, but Vitalija Mikolenko scored 3: 0.

Ireland, meanwhile, beat Scotland 3-0 (2-0). Alans Brauns took the lead in the 20th minute, followed by another ball in the Scottish goal eight minutes later, this time to be accurate to Trojan Parot. After six minutes, Michael Obafemi scored the third goal for the home team in the second half.

Montenegro also played a draw at home against Bosnia and Herzegovina, ending the match 1: 1 (0: 0). In the 62nd minute, Luka Menalo scored the goal for the guests, but in the 77th minute, Adam Marušičs reached the draw. Romania, on the other hand, as the home team, won Finland over 1: 0 (1: 0). The only goal was scored by Nikushors Banka in the 30th minute. In League C, the Faroe Islands defeated Lithuania 2: 1 (2: 1), while Turkey defeated Luxembourg 2: 0 (1: 0).

In the League of Nations, the group winners earn the opportunity to play in the top group next season. Namely, the team that wins in one of the C groups gets a chance to start in one of the B groups, while the winners of the B groups are strong in the A groups next season. The weakest teams in Group C meet in the knockout battles to find out the two units that will be relegated to the D League, replacing the two strongest units.

The League of Nations tournament is in its third year. Last season’s final tournament took place last October, with France winning Spain in the title race. In the first season, the final was hosted by Portugal, making the home team the first UEFA Nations League champions in history.
