The Rathenower Judo Club hosted the West district individual championship in the U11 and U13 on Saturday. The twelve FSV Viktoria Judoka were able to show their learned techniques on the tatami after the long Corona break. All athletes gave their all. All judoka who fought for place 1-3 qualified for the state youth games, five FSV Viktoria judoka will now go into the second round in two weeks.

Lena Scharlach wins gold in the U11 up to 48kg. Bronze in the U11s went to Alisha Shirin Furch in the +48kg weight class, Paul Giese in the up to 28kg weight class, Ahmad Hasan in the +46kg weight class and Fero Keanu Lohmann in the up to 40kg weight class.

Lea Alienna Wagenknecht was happy about the 5th place in the U11 up to 30kg. The judoka in the U13 Lara-Andreea Serb in the weight class up to 44kg and Yven Justin Titze in the weight class up to 43kg were also happy about the 5th place. Kylian Leandro Furch, Niklas Schumacher, Jayden Wiese and Lea Fiona Hartung, who gave everything and showed nice fights, lost two or more fights in the KO system and were eliminated as a result. Thus, they did not qualify for the state youth games.
