From HSV to Karlsruher SC: Mikkel Kaufmann before the change

The respectable personal final spurt was not enough for Mikkel Kaufmann to make lasting advertising at HSV for a further commitment on his own behalf. Those responsible decided relatively quickly, the purchase option anchored in the loan agreement over 1.5 million euros for the Dane not to draw. A reunion with the Dane is likely to come in the coming season.

According to MOPO information, Kaufmann is drawn to Karlsruher SC. After the departure of top striker Philipp Hofmann (18 goals this season/to VfL Bochum), Baden have an acute need as a striker. With Kaufmann, KSC has apparently found a new attacker, and the deal could go ahead in the near future. The 21-year-old had no future at his home club, FC Copenhagen.

“I don’t fit into their plans,” Kaufmann said recently in an interview with a Danish radio station. The businessman, who has still not been dismissed at HSV, obviously fits into that of Karlsruher SC.
