Francisco Comesaña continues his streak

The Challenger of Buenos Aires at the Argentine Tennis Club has its first Argentine qualified for the quarterfinals: Francisco Comesana. Yes, the same as the last weekend he became champion in Corrientes.

The other two who advanced to the third round of the contest were the Brazilian Joao Reis Da Silvawho defeated the Ecuadorian Roberto Quiroz, seeded fifth, by 4-6, 6-1 and 6-2 and the Peruvian Arklon Huertas del Pinowho defeated his brother Conner 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 in a match that lasted almost two and a half hours.

This Thursday the singles quarterfinals will be completed with the participation of six Argentines who will go for more. Among them, Juan Pablo Ficovich, maximum favourite, and168º del ranking ATP.
