BOLASPORT.COM – For the first time since the 2007 edition, four Southeast Asian representatives will qualify for the Asian Cup finals.

The four countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Vietnam has already ensured a ticket to qualify first by becoming the best runner-up in the second round of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian zone.

Meanwhile, three other countries registered tickets for qualifying in the third round.

Interestingly, the three teams both secured tickets to qualify as the best runner-up in the qualifying round.

The Indonesian national team became the last team to secure a ticket to qualify for the 2023 Asian Cup.

This certainty occurred after the Indonesian national team won 7-0 over Nepal.

When viewed from the results of the temporary pot, the four countries will occupy different pots.

Currently, Vietnam is in the second pot after successfully qualifying for the third round of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian zone.
