FC Bayern: It’s about Julian Nagelsmann! Corentin Tolisso ups the ante against the bosses! – Bundesliga

Corentin Tolisso (27) follows up against the Bayern bosses!

After five years, the Munich team let the contract with the 41.5 million man (2017 from Lyon, then a record fee in the Bundesliga) expire. The Frenchman has already criticized those responsible for not contacting him three weeks after the end of the season. “Coco” then finally ended his time in Munich through his advisor.

In the French newspaper “L’Équipe”, Tolisso again attacked the bosses: “There is the opinion of the coach and that of those responsible…”

What the midfield star means: Julian Nagelsmann (34) appreciates the 2018 world champion as a person and as a player. The coach would have given him another chance, but according to BILD information, Ryan Gravenberch (20/Ajax Amsterdam) and Konrad Laimer (24/RB Leipzig) had higher priority for him.

Tolisso’s criticism: “We didn’t play a great season. I don’t think the manager has enough say to say, ‘I want to keep this player.'”

He goes on to explain: “The coach gave me confidence. I played under him regularly and then I got injured. I think that played a role.”

A month ago, Nagelsmann said: “I appreciate Coco incredibly. He has an incredible winning mentality and brings a good spirit to training. But the susceptibility to injury is a small problem. You have to see all sides of it.”

Because of the many injuries (including cruciate ligament tears, ankle surgery, repeated muscle injuries) and the expected salary of around 11 million euros per year, the bosses did not extend him.

BILD knows: “Coco” rejected the club’s offer to see him off with a bouquet of flowers on matchday 33 before the game against Stuttgart because he was still hoping for a new contract and his market value remained higher as a result of the contract poker.

Tolisso on the end of his contract: “I understand the club’s decision. But also from my point of view, because it is good to get a change of air and start a new cycle.”
