Farewell in summer? Nianzou’s future at Bayern remains open

Bayern youngster Tanguy Nianzou has repeatedly been associated with a premature departure from FCB in recent months. Even if Julian Nagelsmann recently emphasized that the young Frenchman will have a new chance in the coming season, there is still a question mark over the defender’s sporting future on the Isar.

Recently, reports have been circulating that Nianzou could leave the record champions on loan. According to the French “L’Equipe”, there are two Bundesliga clubs in Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig that are interested in the 20-year-old central defender.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann recently commented on the ongoing speculation about Nianzou as follows: “Loaning Tanguy is not an option. He will definitely stay with us. He developed well in the second half of the season. He’s firmly planned in my head and will play a role.”

Nianzou can prove himself in the preparation

Even if Nagelsmann plans with Nianzou, a farewell in the summer is not completely impossible. As “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg reports, Nianzou can prove himself in the summer preparation. However, the France U20 international needs regular match practice at the highest level to develop. At FC Bayern, the youngster had to be content with a reserve role. In the past season he made 22 appearances, but was on the pitch for an average of less than 40 minutes.

According to Plettenberg, Nianzou’s future will not be decided until August. Accordingly, it cannot be ruled out that the club and the players will still decide to go on loan. According to “Sky” information, several interested parties have already contacted the player.
