Evita Games: they launched the local stage in Paraná

The local stage of the Evita Games was launched this Friday at the facilities of the Atlético Echagüe Club, more precisely the Luis Butta stadium. This instance is organized by the Municipality and the Provincial Government, in coordination with clubs, associations, federations and the CGE.

The disciplines in which they will participate are: gymnastics Level 1 and 2, chess, athletics, badminton, basketball, soccer, trampoline gymnastics, field hockey, rugby and volleyball. The Local stage will classify teams and athletes to the provincial stage.

“It is very important that children from different neighborhoods in Paraná practice and share the values ​​of sport,” said Mayor Adán Bahl during the opening ceremony. “We work a lot in the neighborhood sports schools because we want more kids to do sports and more disciplines,” added the municipal president, who was accompanied by his wife, Claudia Silva.

This Friday the competitions in gymnastics were launched. Officials, organizers of the competition and young people between 14 and 17 years old who will compete in ten sports disciplines participated in the opening ceremony.

Artistic gymnastics opened the activity of the local stage at the Luis Butta stadium.

Adrián Perotti, Undersecretary of Sports of the province, attended on behalf of Secretary José Gómez and highlighted “returning to the Evita Games after the suspension due to the pandemic and that Paraná is the kickoff of a local stage, for us it is a huge joy “.

The Secretary of Strategic Coordination of the Municipality, José Claret, valued the importance of Paraná experiencing the Evita Games again: “We work with the provincial and national governments to make these games a reality and also promote the sports development of our youngsters, young people and older adults ”.

The Undersecretary of Sports, Liliana Guzmán, thanked “the sports institutions of the city that gave us the spaces for the different sports.”

In Paraná, the following will be played: Gymnastics Level 1 and 2, Chess, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Soccer, Trampoline Gymnastics, Field Hockey, Rugby and Volleyball.

The 10 sports disciplines will have the participation of more than 1,500 athletes between 14 and 17 years old, who will compete in various stages of the city.
