Event of the week | Judo-DM in the SCHARRena

Once again, the SCHARRena in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt on Saturday (June 25, 2022) and Sunday (June 26, 2022) will be the place to go for judo fans from near and far. In the event hall in the heart of the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the German Individual Championships in Judo will be held on these two days. In addition, there is the crème de la crème of national judo sports in the state capital: champions from previous years, Olympic participants and other top athletes who have already represented the German Judo Federation (DJB) at international level.

The fights in the SCHARRena begin on Saturday at 9 a.m., when the women’s competitions in the weight classes up to 57, 63 and 70 kilograms are held first. From 3 p.m. the men’s title fights in the weight classes up to 73, 81 and 90 kilograms will take place. On Sunday, the schedule is reversed: the male judoka can be seen first from 9 a.m. – this time those in the weight classes up to 60, 66, 100 and over 100 kilograms. The women’s competitions in the weight classes up to 48, 52, 78 and over 78 kilograms are the conclusion of the sporting program of the championship and start on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Tickets for the major sporting event are currently still available from the Württemberg Judo Association (WJV), which organizes the individual championship together with the DJB.
