Emmerich on the Rhine. For the second year in a row, the Budo community Senshu Emmerich eV organized the open judo safari in the Rheinpark in Emmerich. The safari is a mass sport event organized by the German Judo Association (DJB) for all girls and boys up to the age of 14. At the expense of the Emmerich Judo Club, judoka and non-judoka from the surrounding kindergartens and schools met in the park to compete in judo, athletics and creativity competitions. Among other things, they had to assert themselves in the long jump, long throw and races. In addition, their creativity was asked for when creating their own medal. However, the supreme discipline was the judo competition: here, in a simplified form, bullfights were fought for victory.

Thanks to the numerous team of helpers, the event became an eventful offer from the Emmerich judo club, which not only represents an offer for the club’s own judoka, but also for all young residents from Emmerich and the surrounding area: Judo connects!

The final endpoint score determined for the community as follows:

  • 6x yellow kangaroo,
  • 20x red fox,
  • 8x Green Snake,
  • 6x Blue Eagle,
  • 3x brown bear, as well
  • 3x Schwarzer Panther.

The results were analyzed as quickly as possible and sent to the DJB. Now it’s time to wait anxiously for the certificates, patches and stickers for the judo passes. These will be handed out to all participants as part of the club training.

The judo safari and many other activities are just a part of the entire association work of the BGS Emmerich. If you would like to find out more about the association and its activities, please get in touch using the contact form on the homepage: www.judo-emmerich.de.
