Does FC Bayern strike now?

In the search for a successor to Robert Lewandowski, who was willing to change, Bayern have apparently found what they were looking for in France’s Ligue 1 at Stade Reims. According to current reports, FCB is dealing with 20-year-old Hugo Ekitike. The youngster was about to join Newcastle United in the English Premier League. However, the transfer seems to have burst. Do Bayern now dare to try the youngster?

In England, reports were recently circulating that Reims and Newcastle had agreed on a move from Ekitike in the summer. There was a fee of up to 46 million euros in the room. Everything had already been clarified between the Magpies and the player side. However, as the portal “90min” reports, Newcastle United has withdrawn the offer for the young striker.

Ekitike comes out as a Mané fan

According to “90min”, the deal between Newcastle and Reims is in danger of collapsing because Ekitike’s advisor is demanding additional payments, which the English will not accept. If the advisor to Newcastle does not accommodate this, the transfer will fail on the home stretch.

According to consistent media reports, however, Ekitike has numerous other options. In addition to Paris Saint-Germain, this should also include FC Bayern. France’s ‘L’Equipe’ revealed this week that the young striker is high on Munich’s wish list should Robert Lewandowski leave the club. Sport director Hasan Salihamidzic in particular should be a big fan of the attacker and would go “all-in” for him in the summer if Bayern had a realistic chance of signing.

It is interesting: Ekitike seems to be quite busy with FC Bayern. The youngster liked the official FCB post about the signing of Sadio Mané on Twitter this week.
