Dennis Schröder is flirting with a return to the Bundesliga

The national basketball player Dennis Schröder, who was born in Braunschweig, can imagine ending his career in the Bundesliga with the Löwen Braunschweig.

“I’m 28 now and I want to play NBA for many more years. But then that would be a goal,” said the Houston Rockets point guard in an interview with the Brunswick newspaper.

Schröder has been the sole shareholder of the Lower Saxony club for almost two years. He doesn’t even completely rule out winning a title with the North Germans: “I’d even like to win a championship with Braunschweig. But that’s just a dream so far.”

Regarding the short-term goals with Braunschweig, he said: “As we have shown recently, we want to establish ourselves as a location that enjoys sporting success and turns young players into national players who might even make it into the Euroleague or the NBA. “
