After confirming to Puebla as headquarters of 2022 National Youth Tennis Championshipthe organizing committee of the contest reported that the fields that will host the contest to be held are ready from July 16 to 23 nextwhere the facilities of the Britania Zavaleta Club, the University of the Americas Puebla and the Christ of Atlixco stand out.
Henry Nunez, president of the Poblana Tennis Association, stressed that having the challenge and commitment to bring the contest to a successful conclusion, the best scenarios were sought for the practice of white sport, being the first time that a private institution such as UDLAP opens its doors to host a fair of this magnitude.
“A tournament of this level needs high-level work, first-class venues and an equally competitive work team. The best scenarios have been integrated, for the first time a private university opens its doors to tennis (the UDLAP) in order to hold the games in their space, which is phenomenal. In the same way, we will play in the public squares of the Diaz Ordaz School Center, which will offer us a larger space to hold the games.”
For his part, the general director of the event, Christian Feldmann, He specified that in addition to UDLAP, Cristo and the Britania Zavaleta Club, there will be the support of the Alpha 2 Club, as well as the Gustavo Díaz Ordaz School Center, where a little more than 1,450 encounters in categories ranging from under 10 years to 18.
Similarly, Juan Ramón Álvarez Cuspineiradirector of tourism promotion of the state, pointed out that the economic benefit for the entity will be around 35 million pesos, so the different hotels and attractions await the start of the contest, which will put Puebla in the eyes of the country for an entire intense week.
