Uli Hoeneß was still playing football when a world star came to the German Bundesliga for the first time. Kevin Keegan had just won the European Cup with Liverpool FC when he decided to switch to Hamburger SV. Unfortunately, the foreign marketing of the Bundesliga had not yet been invented at that time, and even the domestic marketing was such that only three games were allowed to be shown in the sports show. However, one could assume that both Uli Hoeneß’s club and Kevin Keegan’s were among the chosen few, with FC Bayern and HSV being among the major attractions of the league.
