In the men’s category, the team from Sabadell became the new champion, defeating CD Salesianos Elche in the final, while the women’s team from Sancugate beat Colegio San Ignacio

A sensational closing day closed the sixth edition of the Spanish Alevín Championship that has been held in Valladolid throughout the weekend. The town once again vibrated with the young promises of national volleyball in the spectacular assembly of the Pisuerga Sports Center, with 12 playing courts, which crowned CN Sabadell and DSV CV Sant Cugat as new champions of Spain.

CN Sabadell in the men’s category and DSV CV Sant Cugat in the women’s category were proclaimed new national champions of the juvenile category, in a tournament that was once again marked by organizational success and the great work shown by the participating clubs.

In the men’s category, CN Sabadell was proclaimed the new male junior champion, defeating CD Salesianos Elche in the final in a tight match (21-25/22-25) resolved in the closing stages of each set. In the fight for bronze, the 2021 champion, Café del Parque CV Pórtol climbed back on the podium by beating CV Valencia Pureza María 2-0 (25-18/25-21) in a match full of emotion.

In the women’s category, DSV CV Sant Cugat, from the province of Barcelona, ​​won the national title by beating Colegio San Ignacio in the final in a sensational and exciting final controlled at all times by the girls from Barcelona (25-13/25-16). In third place on the podium was CV Esplugues, which improved on fourth place from the previous year. The Catalans beat CV San Roque in the consolation final in a tight match resolved in the tiebreaker.
